He was predeceased by: his parents, Martha Alley and Daniel Alley; his siblings, Bernard of Byron, Olive and Mabel; and his grandson William.
He is survived by: his wife Catherine (Kay); his children, Eleanor (Gordon), Yvonne (Lucas), Shirley (Brian) and James (Ruby); and his siblings, Cecil (Vernice), Theo and Emma.
