He was predeceased by: his parents, Truman and Lydia; and his brothers, Gerald (Jannie), Norman (Dorothy), Gideon (Alma), Ford, Absalom, Boyce (Lillian) and Bruce (Diane).

He is survived by: his friend Linda Jesso; and his children, George (Ruby), Paul and Kimberley (Rita). He is also survived by nieces, nephews, former colleagues and special friends.
