She was predeceased by: her husband Donald Carew; her parents, Loretta Kennedy and Cyril Kennedy; her parents-in-law, Elizabeth and Harry Carew; her daughter Pamela Carew; her grandson Christopher Downey; and her siblings, Raymond and Phyllis.

She is survived by: her children, Bernadette Noftall (Scott), Rosalind Brown (Doug), Donald Carew (Charlene) and Elizabeth Carew (Chris); her grandchildren, Daniel Harte, Anthony Carew, Jessica Carew, Amber Brown, Douglas Brown, Haley Noftall and Erika Downey; her siblings, Patricia Harding (Frazer), Jim Kennedy (Sheila), Jerome Kennedy (Flo), Mike Kennedy (Pansy), Patrick Kennedy (Daughter Sarah Kennedy) and Doug Kennedy (Melita); and her great grandchildren, Zachary, Lyla, Noah, Levi, Ruby, Johnathan, Nathaniel, Lincoln, Douglas Jr., Dawson, Deliah, Dakota, Benjamin and Leah.
