She was predeceased by: her parents, Margaret Winsor (Spurrell) and Clarence Winsor; her husband Harold Rowe; and her sister Jean Lilly. She is survived by: her daughters, Beverley Rowe Karagianis (Elliot) and Kathy Rowe (Robert Earle); her grandchildren, Andrew Karagianis (Ally), Rae Karagianis and David Karagianis (Sammie); her great grandchildren, Heather Walker (Matt) and Sage Walker; her brother-in-law Hal Lilly; and her friend Suzanne Bursey (Sue).

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Multiple Sclerosis Society or the Canada Red Cross in Rita's memory.
