It is always difficult saying goodbye to someone we love and cherish. Family and friends must say goodbye to their beloved Philip Rose (St John's, Newfoundland), who passed away at the age of 72, on October 14, 2024. He was predeceased by: his parents, Philip and Winifred; his parents-in-law, Samuel and Margaret Gauci; and his brothers-in-law, Ron O'Brien, Frank Gauci and John Gauci.

He is survived by: his wife Mary; his sons, Sam (Lisa) and Jason (Corinne); his grandson Lachlan; his brothers, Brendan (Edith) and Aubrey; and his siblings-in-law, Carmelita O'Brien, Margaret Fleming (Ray), Anthony Gauci (Anna), Maureen Gauci and Selena Gauci. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, extended family.

Honoring Phil's love for animals, in lieu of flowers donations can be made to the SPCA in his memory.
