She was predeceased by: her husband George Edward Brown; her parents, Martha Ash and Edward Ash; her siblings, Alice, Margaret, Ethel, Edward and Herbert; and her grandmother Jean.
She is survived by: her family, Ed Brown, Randy Brown (Brenda), Judy Butler (Neil) and Dan Brown; her grandchildren, Cyndi Major (Chris), Colin Butler (Katrina), Cheryl Brown (Steve), Angela Brown (Sam) and Matthew Brown (Stephanie); her great grandchildren, Callie Major and Carter; her brother Les Brown; and her sister-in-law Barbara Power. She is also survived by married with four children, five grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
A funeral service was held on Wednesday, February 12th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Barrett's Chapel (328 Hamilton Ave, St. John's, NL A1E1J9).
As an expression of sympathy in lieu of flowers, donations in Jean's memory would be graciously accepted at the local SPCA and Food Bank.
