Lydia left this world on February 24, 2025 at the age of 77, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. She was predeceased by: her parents, Georgina Piercey and Nelson Piercey; her siblings, Rose Turner, June Pelley (Alex Pelley), Elsie Bradbury (Charlie), Bill Piercey, Martin Piercey, Alfred Piercey (Marie), Harry Piercey and Woodrow Piercey; and her in-laws, Ernest Greeley and Florence Piercey.
She is survived by: her children, Laverna Langdon (Derek), Georgina Smith (Tom), Wendy Smith (Gerald), Vicki Smith, Angie Smith (Nathin) and Fletcher Smith; her siblings, Theresa Greeley (Kyrl), Fletcher Piercey (Maribelle) and Nelson Piercey; and her siblings-in-law, Betty Piercey, Minnie Piercey, Nathy Mallari and Brent Turner.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, March 1st 2025 from 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Barrett's Funeral Homes - St. John's (328 Hamilton Ave, St. John's, NL A1E1J9).
In Lieu of flowers donations may be made in Pearl's memory to a charity of one's choice.
