It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Lorne Farrell (St John's, Newfoundland), who passed away on January 16, 2025, at the age of 73, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Ronald Farrell and Gladys Farrell; his siblings, Wallace Farrell, Hazel, Lillian and Millicent; and his parents-in-law, Robert Meadus Senior and Estel Meadus.
He is survived by: his wife Sharon; his daughters, Natasha and Tanya; his grandson Sebastian Ronan Farrell; his brothers-in-law, Dr. Robert Jr. and Mario Meadus; his nephew Kyle (Kate); his niece Alisha (Graeme); his sisters-in-law, Sandra (Eric) and Winnie Farrell; his nephew Ronnie (Emma); his sisters, Gloria (Florida), Mildred and Viola (ON); his nieces, Cherylynn, Joanne Hunt (ON) and Judy (Mike); his nephew Wallace Reid (Jayne); and his pets, Bingley and Gatsby.
A funeral service will be held on Friday, January 24th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Barrett's Memorial Chapel (328 Hamilton Ave, St. John's, NL A1E1J9). A burial will be held on Friday, January 24th 2025 at the Anglican Cemetery.
