With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Lester Wesley Bowering (St John's, Newfoundland), whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. He was predeceased by: his son-in-law Michael Power; his parents, Lester Pearl and Ada Pearl; his parents-in-law, Malcolm Parrott and Elizabeth; his brother Baxter; and his siblings-in-law, Lois (Nee Noseworthy) and Winston Hunt.
He is survived by: his wife Ann; his daughters, Deborah and Andrea (Michael); his grandchild Meagan (Lucas); his sister Ethel Hunt; and his nieces and nephews, Carolyn Young (Rick), Carl Bowering (Tara), Sharon Fitzgerald (Ed), Paul Bowering, Lois Fowler-Gylnn (Rick), Janet Stone (Ed), Keith Hunt (Lynda) and Dale Cathmoire (Gord).
Visitation was held on Saturday, February 15th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 5:00 PM and from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Carnell's Funeral Home (329 Freshwater Rd, St. John's, NL A1B1C3). A funeral service was held on Monday, February 17th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the St. Mark's Anglican Church (203 Logy Bay Rd, St. John's, NL A1A3T7).
