He was predeceased by: his father Albert. He is survived by: his wife Kathleen Connors; his daughters, Kali, Erin and Samantha; his stepchildren, Jennifer and Liam; his mother Marion Kenny; his siblings, Alverna, Eddie (Strat), Kathleen (Eugene) and Albert (Vanessa); his grandson Henry; and his pet Copper.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Crow's Nest Military Artifacts Association or SPCA St. John's.

“Karl was a great guy. Although I did not get to meet him in person, Terri and I were looking forward to meeting in FL and having him drive his new Hurst Jeepster around for the first time with Kate and Karl. He was always jovial and full of optimism. He was clearly an avid Jeep guy and car lover. He would always say, " They don't make these anymore!" We may not have had the chance but I will sure look you up in the next life Karl. God Bless and rest in peace, your name will not be forgotten.”
