Judith M. (Cahill) Brown Obituary

Judy Brown passed away peacefully on a quiet Tuesday afternoon, surrounded by family. Predeceased by her beloved husband, Barry Brown, and her brother, Frank Cahill. Lovingly remembered by her children, Stacey Brown, Carolyn Brown, Leslie Kenny (Dan), and Jennifer Emery (Gabriel), her grandchildren Emma Kenny, Sara Kenny, Riley Emery, and Olivia Emery, her brother Jim Cahill (Yvonne Hepditch), her sisters Anne Butler (Doug, deceased) and Mary Cahill (Glenn Trask), and sisters-in-law Sarah Cahill (nee Merrigan), Brenda (Dave Rairie), and Michelle Ward (nee Brown), as well a wide circle of cousins, nieces, nephews, and very dear friends.

Judy was an elegant, gentle person who cared deeply for others throughout her career as a physiotherapist and all through her life. She will be fondly remembered for her quick wit (and occasional saucy side!), her beautiful singing voice, her keen intelligence, and her great love of reading. Over the years, Judy got great enjoyment from going out to the theatre and the symphony, playing golf, doing tai chi, getting out for her walks, and especially from going to aquafit. Her smile could light up a room, and you’d be sure to see one if you brought her a chai latte and a cookie.
