She was predeceased by: her husband Chesley; her parents, Charles Mercer and Ethel Mercer; and her siblings, Helen Metcalfe (Dave) and Jacob (Jane).
She is survived by: her children, Charlie (Regina), Paul (Allison) and Elizabeth (Rick); her niece Pamela Metcalfe; her grandchildren, Chris (Dena), Kayla (Chris), Chelsea (Quin) and Rachel (Hayden); and her great grandchildren, Katelin and Everly.
A donation may be made in Irene's name to a charity of one's choice.
