She was predeceased by: her husband Chesley; her parents, Charles Mercer and Ethel Mercer; and her siblings, Helen Metcalfe (Dave) and Jacob (Jane).
She is survived by: her children, Charlie (Regina), Paul (Allison) and Elizabeth (Rick); her niece Pamela Metcalfe; her grandchildren, Chris (Dena), Kayla (Chris), Chelsea (Quin) and Rachel (Hayden); and her great grandchildren, Katelin and Everly.
Visitation was held on Sunday, December 8th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM, from 2:00 PM to 9:00 PM, on Monday, December 9th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM and from 2:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Carnell's Funeral Home (329 Freshwater Rd, St. John's, NL A1B1C3). A funeral service was held on Monday, December 9th 2024 at 1:00 PM at the St. Augustine's Church (1 Westerland Rd, St. John's, NL A1B3R7). The inurnment was held on Monday, December 9th 2024 at the Kenmount Road Anglican Cemetery.
