We bid farewell to Georgie Chalker (St John's, Newfoundland), born in Twillingate, Newfoundland, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on February 15, 2025 at the age of 80. Georgie touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. She was predeceased by: her parents, George Chalker and Mercedes Chalker (Dunphy); her brother-in-law Thomas Burke; and her friend Karen Pritchett. She is survived by: her siblings, Mary Chalker, Dorothy Burke and George Chalker; her niece Brigid Burke; her nephew Paddy Burke (Tracey); her great-nephew Jack; her great-niece Clara; and her cousin Ted Hiscock.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, March 2nd 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM, from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM, on Monday, March 3rd 2025 from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM and on Tuesday, March 4th 2025 at 2:00 PM. A funeral service will be held on Monday, March 3rd 2025 at 2:00 PM at the St Thomas' Church (8 Military Rd, St. John's, NL A1C2C4).
