It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Genevieve Doris (Sparkes) Parsons (St John's, Newfoundland), born in Glovertown, Newfoundland, who passed away on July 4, 2021, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband Rex; her parents, Galpine and Pearl; and her sister Judy. She is survived by: her children, Robert (Gale), Janet Jay Parsons (Eric Davidson) and Laura Windrim (Dave); her grandchildren, Lance, Liam, Ethan, MacKenzie, Sophie, Sam, Matthew and Elizabeth; her great grandchild Poppy; her sister Yvonne Cooper (Lloyd); and her siblings-in-law, David Morris, John Parsons and Joan Bowler (Paul). She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and close friends.

Funeral will be held from the Carnell Memorial Chapel on Thursday, July 8 at 11 a. m. Covid protocols and regulations will be followed.

In lieu of flowers, donations in Genevieve's memory may be made to the Alzheimer's Society or a charity of one's choice.
