He was predeceased by: his parents, Frank Day and Elsie Day of St. John's; his wife Vivian Day; his children, Peter Francis and Charlotte Day; his sisters, Daphne and Mildred Furey; his siblings-in-law, Frank Furey, Ruby Gosse, Lloyd Gosse, Diana Pittman and Frank Stone; and his in-laws, Peter and Elizabeth Gosse.
He is survived by: his granddaughter Jeanette; his son-law Howard; his nieces, Annette-Ghaney and Daphne Held; and his nephew Frank.
Visitation will be held on Friday, November 22nd 2024 from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Carnell's Funeral Home (329 Freshwater Rd, St. John's, NL A1B1C3). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, November 23rd 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Memorial Gardens Cemetery (329 Freshwater Rd, St. John's, NL A1B1C3).
