He was predeceased by: his wife Lillian; his parents, Myrtle Stone and Gordon Stone; and his siblings, Lorraine, Helen, Carol and David.
He is survived by: his children, Paul (Betty), Derek (Cindy) and Darlene Halleran (Paul); his nephew Eddie Hynes (Patsy); his siblings-in-law, Doreen Michael (Edward), Margaret Moxley and David Hynes (Gail); his grandchildren, Leah, Jeffrey (Christina), Derek (Stephanie), Brittany (Shazad), Maria and Anna; his nieces, Leslie (Matthew) and Katy (Sam); his nephew Stephen; his great grandchildren, Macy, Zoey, Jack, Cecily, Ryder and Theo; and his great-nieces, Ava and Ella.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, October 29th 2024 from 11:00 AM to 9:00 PM at the Barrett's Funeral Homes - St. John's (328 Hamilton Ave, St. John's, NL A1E1J9). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, October 30th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the St. Thomas' Church.
