He was predeceased by: his parents, Winnifred and Gerald; his parents-in-law, Georgina and Jack Bartlett; his brothers-in-law, Graham Carter and Bob Bursey; and his nieces, Laura Carter and Kellie Summers.
He is survived by: his wife Hilda (Bartlett); his children, Renée (Peter), Natalie (Dion) and Scott; the mother of his children Hazel (Ron); his grandchildren, Katie, Chantal (Burke), Shawn, Brianna, Lilah and Courtney (Darnell); his siblings, Art (Betty), David (Rita), Bernice and Sharon (Jim); his sisters-in-law, Doris (Barry) and Olga; and also, Nicolle (Wayne), Hazel, Frederick and Avery.
In lieu of flowers, donations in Doug's memory may be made to VOWR, his most favorite radio station that he used to listen to every day.
