He was loved and cherished by many people including: his mother Effie Mae (Snelgrove); his children, Jacob (Shelby) and Elise (Jesse); the mother of his children Lisa Davis (Jack Mercer); his grandson Dashiell; his brother Derek (Laurie); his nephews, John Derek, Stephen and Luke of Easley; his close friends, Robert, Raelene Thomas, Harry Simms, Anne Marie Lane, Dave Taylor and Greg Morgan; his father Jacob Parsons; and his pet Bosun.
