It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Diane Helen Mootrey (St John's, Newfoundland), who passed away on April 20, 2025, at the age of 71, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Fred Mootrey and Helen Mootrey; and her brothers, Les (Kari) and Earl. She is survived by: her sons, Paul (Kelly) and Shawn (Shauna); her grandchildren, Jasmyn, Kyara, Dakota, Natalie and Grant; her siblings, Harold (Tammy), Danny (Maisie), Freddy, Paul (Pam), Ruth Lefort (John) and Audrey McDonald (Johnny); her sisters-in-law, Eileen and Debbie; and her aunts, Venita White, Leona and Florence Williams. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins.
Visitation was held on Sunday, April 27th 2025 from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Barrett's Funeral Homes - St. John's (328 Hamilton Ave, St. John's, NL A1E1J9). A funeral service was held on Monday, April 28th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Barrett's Chapel (328 Hamilton Ave, St. John's, NL A1E1J9).
