He was predeceased by: his wife Elizabeth "Betty Ann" Howell; his mother Dorothy Rudicil; his siblings, Charles Rudicil, Jerry Rudicil and Nancy Rudicil; his parents-in-law, Helen Howell and Albert Howell; and his siblings-in-law, Dennis Howell and Gail Howell.
He is survived by: his children, David Rudicil Jr., Samantha Mathewson (Eric) and Ursula Barnes; his grandchildren, Megan Mathewson, Kayla Walshe, Zachary Mathewson (Mollie), Erika Rudicil, Melissa Mathewson and Jasmine Barnes; his brother Ed (Juanita); his siblings-in-law, Alec (Sandy), Wayne, Frank, Jimmy, Gary (Joanne), Darren (Renee), Gwen Williams (Dave), Patsy Beaudry (Gerald), Margaret Howell (Joe), Sherry Lewis (Herbert), Kathy Hunt (Kevin) and Cynthia Jackman (William); and his grandson Nathan Slaney.
Visitation was held on Sunday, April 13th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Carnell's Funeral Home (329 Freshwater Rd, St. John's, NL A1B1C3). A funeral service was held on Monday, April 14th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the 14th the Carnell Memorial Chapel (329 Freshwater Rd, St. John's, NL A1B1C3).
