She was predeceased by: her parents, Abbie Samson (Hapgood) and Norman Samson. She is survived by: her husband William Brown; her children, Edward Brown (Maureen), Juanita Sloan (Gerald Tremblett), Jeannine Smith (Rodger) and Jo-Anne Hansford (Kurt); her grandchildren, Ryan Sloan and Morghan Tremblett; her great grandchildren, Jasper and Harlie; and her brother Edward Samson (Gertrude).

In lieu of flowers, donations in her memory can be made to the Alzheimer Society.
