She was predeceased by: her husband Rev. George "Manuel" Saunders; her parents, Kenneth B. Robertson and Annie B. Robertson; her stepmother Elgie Robertson; and her brothers, Hugh Robertson (Bette) and Campbell Robertson.
She is survived by: her children, Robert (Yvonne), Lynn Skinner (Craig), Carolyn Walsh (Paul) and Jim (Rose); her grandchildren, Chad (Kim), Alex, Richard (Courtney), Zak and Meadow; her great grandchild Quinn; her friends, Gary and Marlene Mercer; her grandsons, David (Sarah) and Brad (Angelina); her nieces, Diane Wentzell and Sally Robertson; and her sisters-in-law, Glenda Robertson and Carol Saunders.
Visitation was held on Friday, October 25th 2024 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM, from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM and on Saturday, October 26th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Barrett's Funeral Homes - St. John's (328 Hamilton Ave, St. John's, NL A1E1J9). A funeral service was held on Saturday, October 26th 2024 at 12:00 PM at the Barrett's Chapel (328 Hamilton Ave, St. John's, NL A1E1J9).
No flowers by request. Donations in her memory can be made to Gower Street United Church (General Fund) or the Alzheimer's Society.
