He was predeceased by: his siblings, Charlie, Patrick, Edward, Joseph, Thomas, Francis, John, Gertie and Laura; and his parents, Patrick Ellen and Mary Ellen.
He is survived by: his wife Effie; and his children, Bill (Tina), Carol (Eugene Hedd), Barry (Gabby) of Tara, ON and Colin (Shannon) of Whitbourne, NL. He is also survived by other nephews, nieces relatives and friends.
As an expression of sympathy, in lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Bay d'Espoir Cancer Benefit Fund.
