He is survived by: his wife Loretta; his children, Sheldon McDonald (Catherine), Darcy McDonald (Colleen) of Brampton, ON, Steven Byrne (Jennifer) of Wabush, NL, Christopher McDonald (Megan) of Milltown, NL and Kelly McDonald (Danny) of Milltown, NL; his grandchildren, Austin, Alyssa, Brandon, Cooper, Anna, Callie, Abel, Easton, Jade and Amber; and his sisters, Betty (Robert Childs), Hazel (Gerard Willcott), Katie (Adolphus Childs) of Gander, NL, Peggy (Roland Lushman), Espoir and Ivy (Fabian Willcott). He is also survived by other nephews, nieces relatives and friends.
