He was predeceased by: his former wife Margaret; and his parents, Roy Thistle and Phyllis Thistle. He is survived by: his wife Mildred Anstey; his children, Paul Thistle (Raquel), Geoff Thistle (Vicky) and Tanya Thistle (Nelson); his stepchildren, Scott Anstey (Tracey), Bonnie Noble (Keith), Sharon Armstrong (Dean) and Rhoda Prowse; his grandchildren, Tara Barry (Richard), Kristen Thistle, Renee Thistle and Summer Thistle; and his sisters, Joanne Greening (Fred) and Lisa Noel (Andrew). He is also survived by step grandchildren, great grandchildren, friends.
A funeral service was held on Thursday, November 7th 2024 at 1:00 PM at the Bethany United Church (22 NL-410, Baie Verte, NL A0K1B0).
