We are sad to announce that on January 13, 2023, at the age of 88, Gerald William Gillard of Springdale, Newfoundland, born in Buchans, Newfoundland passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his wife Andrea (Pretty); his parents, Percy Gillard and Irene Gillard (Huxter); his parents-in-law, Edmund and Lucy Pretty (Gates); and his brothers-in-law, Rex Pretty, Patrick Dowdall and Ed Stevenson.
He is survived by: his brother Carl (Patricia) of Springdale; his sisters-in-law, Melva Dowdall of Georgetown, ON, Beryl Stevenson of Milton, ON and Golda Byrne (Jim) of Reidville, NL; and his close friend Baie Verte. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and friends.
