He was predeceased by: his parents, Mary Curnew and George Vaters; his stepfather Raymond Russell; and his siblings, Joan Pallson, Ricky Vaters and Paul Vaters.
He is survived by: his wife Karen; his children, Roger Fewer (Emily), Trista Wells, Gary Fagan (Crystal) and Ashley Agar (Ryan); his grandchildren, Lucas, Mackenzie and Austin; his siblings, Betty Stone (Terry), Bonnie Parsons, Georgina Vaters, Bill Vaters (Linda), Terry Vaters and Aubrey Vaters; his siblings-in-law, Jakup Pallson, Marina Vaters, George and Pam; and his parents-in-law, Wilfred and Shirley Snow.
Visitation was held on Saturday, March 22nd 2025 from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM and from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Slade's Funeral Home (31 Powell Dr, Carbonear, NL A1Y1A5). A funeral service was held on Sunday, March 23rd 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Cornerstone Baptist Church (19 High Rd S, Carbonear, NL A1Y1A4).
In lieu of flowers, as expressions of sympathy donations may be made to the Roger Vaters Memorial Fund.
