He was predeceased by: his wife Clara (Gallant); his son Gordon Douglas (Rosemary); his parents, John Gale and Jessie Gale; and his siblings, Edward (Ned), Johnny, Paul, Bern, Mike, Gerald, Andy and Loretta.
He is survived by: his brothers, Frank, Wallace, Robert and Pius; and his children, Shelia Gale, Richard Gale, Clayton Gale (Sharon), Conrad Gale (Darlene), Lynn Chapman (Steve), Roslyn Nodine (Jim), Glen Gale (Pamela) and Les Gale (Leah). He is also survived by 23 Great Grand Children and 1 Great Great Grand child.
