She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, William Cyril Mercer and Ellen Mercer (Holmes) of Shearstown; her husband John H. Saunders; her children, John C. Saunders, Lillian (Dave Dwyer), Helen Saunders and Richard Saunders (Pearleen); her grandsons, Greg Dwyer (Lorna), Jason Dwyer (Yvonne), David Dwyer (Tina), Nicholas Saunders (Rebecca) and John Saunders; her great grandchildren, Jason, Sydney Dwyer, Clint and Cody Saunders; her great great grandchild Paige; and her sister Carmelita MacNeil.
