He was predeceased by: his parents, Jonas Elliott and Millicent Elliott (Barefoot); and his brothers-in-law, Jack, Gregory and Thomas.

He is survived by: his wife Elizabeth Ann (Harvey); his sons, Jason (Sherri) of Brooklyn, NS and Eddie (Shaida) of Fort McMurray; his grandchildren, Joshua, Megan, Leah, Madilyn and Brayden; his sisters, Elizabeth Oldford (Calvin), Lily Meehan (Gary), Isabel Williams (Arthur), Elsie and Blanche Powell (Doug); and his siblings-in-law, Clarence (Shirley), Walter (Sylvia), Harold (Geraldine), Maxwell and Daisy. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
