With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Lucy Cheeseman of Rushoon, Newfoundland, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on December 28, 2024. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, George Cheeseman and Nora Cheeseman; her sister Annie Legge; and her brothers-in-law, Tom Keating and Brian Timmons.
She is survived by: her sisters, Catherine Ricketts (Ray), Sheila Andrews (Jobie), Jacqueline Timmons and Georgina Maloney (Jeff); her aunt Annie Christianson; her uncle Jack Hann (Delores); her nieces and nephews, Leigh Ann Ricketts, Geraldine Fewer, Mary Reid, Krista Keating, Lucille Grandy, Jackie Fewer, Stephanie Timmons, George Fewer, Earl Keating, Rodney Keating, Johnny Keating, Thomas Keating and Scott Ricketts; her brother-in-law Carl Legge; and her close friend Nellie Murphy.
In Lucy's memory, in-lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Baine Harbour Volunteer Fire Department.
