He was predeceased by: his parents, John Parsons and Martha Parsons; his daughter Cathy MacDonald; and his siblings, Clyde Parsons, Gordon Parsons, Ralph Parsons, Ronald Parsons and Susie Keeping.
He is survived by: his close friend Ann Belong; his children, Willie (Joan Parsons) of Middle Sackville, NS and Walterine (Steven Faye) of Shelburne, NS.; his great grandchildren, Jordan Parsons (Bailee Ewing), Kaylene MacDonald (Colin Bradley), Johnny MacDonald, Jessica Parsons, John MacDonald (Jennifer Taylor) and Gloria Parsons of Halifax, NS; and his siblings, John Parsons (Mabel), William Parsons (Ann), Melita Best and Annie May Hayman (George).
Due to the current public health advisory of COVID-19, a viewing has taken place at East Haven Funeral Home.
