He was predeceased by: his wife Marion (Kenny); his parents, Alex Pittman and Rose Pittman of Renews; his sister Sarah Murphy of St. John's; his parents-in-law, John and Mary Kenny of Fermeuse; his siblings-in-law, Carmel Pittman of St. Phillips and Pat Murphy (Jim) of St. John's; his children, Tracey Sauer (Colin) and Dwayne Pittman of Alberta; and his granddaughters, Lacy, Layla and Emma.
He is survived by: his siblings, Dan (Rita), Jack (Mary), Ted, Pat (Marie), Ray (Ita), Brendan (Rosalind), Carl (Wanda), Eileen Collins (Ken) and Marion Conway. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
