He was predeceased by: his wife Carmel (O'Leary); his parents, William Hatch and Bridget Hatch; his siblings, Eugene and Winnifred "Winnie" Milley (Hatch); his parents-in-law, John and Rita O'Leary; his son-in-law Darren Rice; and his siblings-in-law, Joan Hatch, Mary Anne Hatch, Mike Kelly, Dan Doyle and O'Leary.

He is survived by: his children, Tony (Florence), Brian (Josephine), Bruce (Melvie), Carl (Stephanie), Keith (Dale), Kevin (Joanne), Lisa and Joanne Rice; his grandchildren, Joey (Melinda), Becky (Darrin), Bruce (Karen), Brittany (John), Karla (Chris), Kelsey, Darrell, Deanne, Landen and Kyle; his great grandchildren, Logan, Bailee, Hayden, Leah, Liam, Noelle and Arielle; his stepgrandchildren, Blair and Blaine; his stepgreat-grandchildren, Trenten, Brinley, Braylen and Akyler; and his siblings, Phillip, Dennis (Pauline), Maurice, Veronica Kelly and Frances Doyle.

As an expression of sympathy, donations in his memory may be made to a charity of one's choice.
