He was predeceased by: his parents, John Simms and Sarah Simms; his siblings, Kyrl, Hubert, Edward, John and Minnie; and his parents-in-law, Clarence and Loretta Fudge.
He is survived by: his wife Geraldine; his children, Stephen (Yulanda) and Jonah (Aimee); his grandchildren, Adrian, Cody, Bobby and Beth; his siblings, Wesley Simms, Rose McDonald (Stan), Shirley Keeping (Ralph), Margaret Kendall (Graham), Effie Barter (Allan) and Patricia Simms; his close friend Roxanne; and his siblings-in-law, Danny (Andrea), Jeffrey (Jessica), Malcolm (Kayla) and Noreen (Howard). He is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
