He was predeceased by: his parents, Ira and Hilda (Nee Lush); his daughter Sheila; his grandson Sheldon Gill; and his siblings, Eli Rideout and Elizabeth Yates.

He is survived by: his significant other Rebecca; his daughters, Colleen (Terry), Hilda (Jim), Sereta and Clarissa (Giles); his grandchildren, Brandon (Amanda), Joshua (Dale), Kayla, Kyle (Jenny), Tyler (Grayson), Bradley (Amanda) and Sarah (Tyler); his great grandchildren, Audrey, Lennon, Calvin, Taytum, Skyler and Everleigh; and his siblings, Fred (Yvonne), Bill (Marilyn), Melvin (Priscella), Minnie Wicks and Sadie (Ralph Brown). He is also survived by his wife and girls as well as his family and friends.
