She was predeceased by: her parents, Peter Blackwood and Maggie Blackwood of Brookfield, NL.; her husband Albert Kean of Pound Cove; and her siblings, Marie, Julia, Stella, Irene, Mabel, Evelyn, Cyril Blackwood, George Blackwood, Baby Boy and Marcus Hall.
She is survived by: her friend Nita Roberts; her close friend Pearl; her children, George Kean (Maxine) of Pound Cove, Paul Kean (Alva) of Lumsden, Marjorie Gray (Robert), Elizabeth Baxstrome (Fred) of Fort Edward and New York; her sister Marjorie Kells of Ontario; her grandchildren, Sheldon, Lisa, George Jr., Gina, Ryan, Bradley and Kailey; and her great grandchildren, Caleb, Nolan, Zachary, Laura, Drew, Norah, Jonah, Juliana, Anna, Ava and Beverly.
As an expression of sympathy and in lieu of flowers, donations may be made in her memory to St. Mary's Anglican Church Cemetery Fund, Pound Cove, NL.
