He was predeceased by: his parents, Eric Burry and Mabel Burry; his siblings, Patricia Loder and Clifford Burry; and his sister-in-law Jeanette Burry.

He is survived by: his siblings, Caroline Burry of Valleyfield, Clayton Burry (Eva) of St. John's, George Burry (Sheila) of Goulds and John Burry (May) of George's Brook; his brother-in-law Boyd Loder of Carbonear; and his nieces and nephews, Philip, Jonathan, Paul, Jennifer, Lisa, Jason, Tyson, Thurman, Melissa, Sherry, Trevor, Trina, Sonya, Amanda and Alison.

As an expression of sympathy and in lieu of flowers donations in Wilfred's memory may be made to The Heart & Stroke Foundation.
