She was predeceased by: her parents, Lester Best and Edith Best; her husband Wilbur Adams; her great-nephew Clydie Hounsell; and her sister Greta Sturge (Stanley).

She is survived by: her brother Gerald Stockley (Wendy) of North Napanee, ON.; her brother-in-law Arthur Adams (Eileen); and her nieces and nephews, Linda Hounsell (Clyde) of Pound Cove, Bertha Oram (Garland) of Dover, Wayne Sturge (Cavelle) of Cape Freels, Jeanette Welcher (Elvis) of Brookfield, Gail Balsom (Garland) of Clarenville, Paula Russell (John) of Clarenville, Annette Adams of St. John's, Sylvia Miller (John) of Calgary, Carolann Hale (John) of Ottawa and Amanda Nichol (Freeman) of Gander.
