He was predeceased by: his parents, Patrick Connors and Agnes Connors (Molloy) of Pouch Cove; and his siblings, Stella O'Toole (Will), Jerome, Bernard (Helen) and Patrick 'Paddy' (Theresa).

He is survived by: his wife Elizabeth 'Lizzie' McGrath of Patrick's Cove; his children, Agnes Auchinleck, Virginia Connors, Gabriel (Wanda), Darren (Tina) and Larry (Heather); his grandchildren, Corinne (Ron Powers), Lynn Anne, Paul (Tanya), Cheryl (Woody), Patrick, Victoria and Brandon; his great grandchildren, Summer, Claire, Emma, Alexander, Liam and Ethan; and his sisters-in-law, Marie McGrath (late Bernard) and Gladys Richards (Greg). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews; extended family and friends.

In his memory, donations may be made to the Our Lady of Lourdes Grotto, Flatrock.
