We bid farewell to Laura Yvonne Whalen (Pouch Cove, Newfoundland), whose journey of life gracefully concluded on November 4, 2024 at the age of 89. Laura Yvonne touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. She was predeceased by: her husband Chesley; her mothers, Bertha Churchill and Gladys Whalen; her siblings, Albert (Blanche), Woodrow and Susan; and her siblings-in-law, Gordon, Cecil (Lorna), Douglas, Susie and Blanche.
She is survived by: her children, Michelle White (Harold), Paul (Kathy), Jerry (Tina), Carl (Irene), Barry (Darlene) and Desmond (Vera); and her siblings-in-law, Janet, Betty (Jack), Dorcas, Marion (Eric) and Joe. She is also survived by 11 grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren, one great-great-grandchild.
