With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Herbert Eugene Langmead (Pouch Cove, Newfoundland), who passed away on August 1, 2023 at the age of 93. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his wife Fanny (Rose); his sons, Herbert and John Langmead; his parents, John Langmead and Alice Langmead; his parents-in-law, Fred and Janet Rose; his sisters, Dellie Estabrooks (Clinton) and Alma Furlong (Tom); his brothers-in-law, Alex Hudson, Cecil Rose and Ronald Bragg; his friends, Harold and Edith Sullivan; and his sister-in-law Annie Newell (Hubert).

He is survived by: his sons, Perry (Pam) and Greg (Suzanne); his grandchildren, Adam (Jacqueline Stone), Vanessa, Jessica (Gavin Williams) and Nathan; his stepgranddaughter Elia Ghent; his great grandchildren, Spencer, Hudson Langmead, Miss Avery Rose Hanlon and Olivia Williams; his stepgreat-grandson Carson Langdon; his sisters, Shirley Bragg and Audrey Hudson; and his sisters-in-law, Joyce Rose and Donna Miller. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, friends.
