He was predeceased by: his parents, Una Piercey and Nauss Piercey; his brother Nauss Piercey; his mother-in-law Esther Jane Poole; his brother-in-law Allan Isaac Poole; his stepgrandson Jonathan Keeping; and his close friend Lawrence Poole.

He is survived by: his wife Grace; his children, Jeremy Piercey (Eme), Gavin Piercey (Shannon), Courtney Jollymore and Karen; his stepchildren, Philip Keeping (Melissa), Marlana Keeping (Terry), Donna Keeping (David) and Heather Barnes; his siblings, Greta Barnhill (Ted), Mary Grandy (Philip), Cyril Piercey (Ivy), Eugene Piercey (Mary) and Roger Piercey (Merina); his father-in-law Sidney Poole (Ruby); and his brothers-in-law, Philip George Poole (Dorothy), Stephen Poole (Doris), Vince Poole (Maisie), Glen Poole (Michelle), Andrew Keeping (Sheila), Roger Snook (Norma), Aubrey Keeping (Martha Jane) and Reuben Keeping (Violet). He is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts, uncles and many, many friends.
