It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Madonna Mulrooney in Placentia, Newfoundland, who passed away on October 21, 2022, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband Daniel Mulrooney; her children, Mercedes, Mary (Mack) and Sammy; her daughter-in-law Carol-Ann; her grandson Joshua; her nephew Frankie; her father Jack; her siblings, Beatrice, Gerard, Thomas and Mercedes; her parents-in-law, Fred and Ellen Mulrooney; and her siblings-in-law, Mary, Margaret, Gertrude, Patrick and Fred.

She is survived by: her children, Austin (Shirley), Kate (Frank), Dan (Louise), Bonnie, Yvonne (Jerry), Sadie (Des) and Darlene (Jerry); her son-in-law Wish Palfrey; her siblings, Henry (Mary), Dennis (Loretta), Jack (Bert), Regina (Dermot), Nora, Martha (Jim), Lynette (Pius) and Maureen (Jim); and her close friend Anne Wakeham. She is also survived by grandchildren, her 20 great-grandchildren, and 2 great-great-grandchildren.
