He was predeceased by: his parents, John Bennett and Mary Bennett; and his siblings, Anne Hepditch, Peter and Gerald.

He is survived by: his sisters, Eileen St. Croix (Peter), Stella Hynes (John), Marion Bennett, Theresa Bennett and Mary Bennett; and his aunt Christine Tobin. He is also survived by nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.
