With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Hannah Thomey (Placentia, Newfoundland), who passed away on October 23, 2021. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Hannah Thomey to pay them a last tribute.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Dagleton Kennedy and Elizabeth Kennedy; her brothers, Michael, William and Patrick Kennedy; her son Michael White; her children-in-law, Martha White and Cyril Hearn (Sal); and her sisters-in-law, Mary, Margaret and Flora Kennedy.

She is survived by: her children, Paul, Mary (Joseph Penney), William (Marie), P. B., Edward (Ellen Theresa), Judith (Augustus Melbourne), Burgeo, Elizabeth, Goulds, Helen (Edward Flynn), Colinet and Gerard (Jorge Zamora); and her sister-in-law Betty. She is also survived by 13 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren.

Due to Covid-19 and travel difficulties for many family members, a private family graveside service will be held.
