David Patrick Coffey Obituary

He was predeceased by: his wife Florence Coffey; his brother Richard; his parents, Dave Coffey and Eva Coffey; his brother Leo Coffey; his brothers-in-law, James Coffey, Jimmy, Francis and Johnny Renouf; his sister Lavinia; his brother-in-law Kevin English; and his parents-in-law, Patsy and Bride.
He is survived by: his children, Elizabeth Sweiger (Steve), Yvette Coffey (Rod Temple), Rodney Coffey, Clyde Coffey (Christine), Peter English (Kim), Kevin English (Jayla) and Michael English (Kyla Tucker); his grandchildren, Meaghan Sweiger, Patrick Sweiger (Jacinta), Brianna Hardiman (Kyle), Jenna Hynes (Patrick Letto), Declan Hynes (Jill Kelly), Jordan Temple, Jesica Fleming, Kurstie Jamili, Logan, Lavinia English, Grayson and Aviana English; his great grandchildren, Rowan, Alec Hardiman, Lincoln and Logan Letto; his siblings, Doreen Tobin (Johnny), Ellen Lake (Bernard), Mary Coffey (late Jim), Ruby Manning (Keith) and Fabian Coffey (Kay); his sister-in-law Madonna; and his close friend Liz Barron. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Thursday, December 19th 2024 from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM and on Friday, December 20th 2024 from 11:00 AM to 9:00 PM at the Coombs Funeral Home (267 Beach High Rd, Placentia, NL A0B2Y0). A funeral service was held on Saturday, December 21st 2024 at 10:30 AM at the Coombs Memorial Chapel.
