He was predeceased by: his parents, Gladys and Tom, Sr.; his brothers, Calvin and Cluney; and his uncles, Arnold Chafe, Harold Chafe and Cyril Best.
He is survived by: his wife Lynn (Ansara); his daughter Allison (Jeff Stanley); his grandchildren, Leslie Ann (Colin Boyd), Kelly, Christa (George Chaulk), Holly, Justin Rockwood (Cassie), Jonathan Best, Taylor Best and Abigail Aylward; his great grandchildren, Abel and Annabelle Rockwood; his siblings, Catriona Colthart, Barbara Everard, Reg Best (Cora), Perry and Floyd (Lynn); his brother-in-law Mark Ansara (Michelle); his uncle Frank Chafe; and also Betty Best. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, and cousins.
