It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Marion Jean Chafe of Petty Harbour, Newfoundland, who passed away on November 19, 2023, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband Donald; her parents, Frederick Chafe and Stella Chafe; her siblings, Eric Chafe (Mary), Max Chafe and Hazel Squires (Frank); and her brother-in-law Howard Pack.
She is survived by: her son Terry (Dorothy); her pet Riley; her son David (Bridget); her grandchildren, James, Erica (Brad) and Daniel; her son Douglas (Virginia); her grandchildren, Vanessa (Darren) and Micheal (Megan); her daughter Gloria (Ralph); her grandchildren, Elizabeth (Lorissa) and Curtis (Alexis); her son Eric; her grandson Steven (Amanda); her sister Sarah Pack; her caregivers, Shirlean Ryan, Kelly Ralph (RN), Jennifer Williams (NP) and Dr. James Zhang; and also Scarlett.
As expressions of sympathy flowers are being gratefully accepted or a donation can be made to St. George's Anglican Church (PettyHarbour) in Marion's memory.
