Ward Jones Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Ward Jones of Pasadena, Newfoundland, who passed away on January 20, 2024 at the age of 78. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Ernest Colson (Bridget Jones) and Sadie Colson; his siblings, Kevin, Patrick, Clifford, Nathan and Madeline; and his son-in-law Gord.
He is survived by: his wife Joan Colson; his children, Pauline Petley of Toronto, ON, Ernest Colson (Betty) of Calgary, AB, David Colson (Paula) of Calgary, AB and Jeffery Colson (Michelle) of Calgary, AB; his grandchildren, Nicholas, Kyla, Stephanie, Christopher, Alysha, Tristen and Michael; his great grandchild Hunter; and his siblings, Ann, Rita, Beatrice, Genevieve, Olive (Don), Junior (Barb) and Tom (Sheila). He is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives, and many friends.
As expressions of sympathy, flowers are graciously accepted, or a donation can be made in Ward's memory to the Heart and Stroke Foundation, or Diabetes Canada.
